WorldNet are predicting a step change in growth over the coming year(s) and require experienced an Network Administrator to help scale our systems accordingly. Many new technologies are being considered to facilitate this, and many opportunities are available within the company.
The applicant will be comfortable with both designing and developing new features that interface to hardware SDKs to enable EMV transactions for POS devices.
There will be a steep learning curve involved when you are required to learn new technologies and languages which are required to be used on projects.
Maintaining features and ensuring feature consistency across three ecosystems (Android, iOS, Windows) is a key part of our development. This role will involve designing and developing features. The successful applicant will be a senior team member and be required to assist/mentor other developers in feature design and development.
Develop systems using efficient, secure and clear code following both industry and company standards.
Write detailed software design documents to support our SDK API
Work with the team developing our GoChip SDK product , identifying gaps in functionality and addressing these gaps.
Degree/qualification in a related field
Exposure to at least 2 of the following languages : Java, Android SDK, Objective-C , C/C++ , C# / .NET
Experience developing with hardware peripherals and their supporting SDK/API/library
Experience working with embedded systems, e.g. Raspberry Pi
Experience in designing and maintaining software APIs
Experience working with and interfacing to REST or Web Services Experience
Banking or card payments, POS or EMV
